DANBURY, Conn. – Sophia Godzak (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) and Olivia Devries (Kent, Ohio/Field) of the Allegheny softball team earned All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for their play during the 2024 season.
 
Godzak earned First Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Third Team honors as well this season. She excelled at the plate once more in 2024. With a batting average of .380, Godzak had 49 hits with six doubles and a home run. She drove in 22 runs and came across the plate 15 times. In games against Otterbein, Chatham and St. Vincent, Godzak went a perfect four-for-four from the plate. That performance against Chatham also saw her season-high in RBI with three.
 
Devries was also named to the PAC First Team after a stellar season. Devries led the conference, and tied an Allegheny program record with 11 home runs this season. She boasted a .392 average and a slugging percentage of .720, second best in the PAC. In 125 at-bats, Devries had 49 hits including eight doubles in addition to the home runs, while driving 36 runs in and scoring 35 times herself. She produced three hits on five different occasions. Against Franciscan, Devries drove in six runs, the second most in program history.
