MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny College softball team had five student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for their performances in the classroom and on the field during the 2023-24 season.
Aleya Belardinelli (Melbourne, Fla./West Shore),
Audrey Blarr (Clarence, N.Y./Clarence),
Olivia Devries (Kent, Ohio/Field),
Samantha Dzierba (Colden, N.Y./Orchard Park) and
Sophia Godzak (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) earned the honor for the Gators.
For Belardinelli, Dzierba and Godzak, this marks the second year in a row earning the award.
Academic All-District winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
