LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) selected recent Allegheny College graduate
Aidan D'Amato (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) to compete in the annual USILA Division III Senior All-Star Game on Friday, May 24, at Widener University.
D'Amato is the first Gator in the five-year history of Allegheny's varsity men's lacrosse program to be named to the Senior All-Star Game. The standout midfielder will compete for the South Team, coached by Eric Seideman, head coach at College of Wooster. The Division III game is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
A two-time All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team recipient, D'Amato wrapped up his career as one of the most prolific players to wear blue and gold. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound midfielder started every game over the past two seasons, and as a senior, he etched his name in program history as the first Gator to reach 100 career points. In 2024, D'Amato logged 46 points (29g-17a) with career highs in ground balls (51) and caused turnovers (14). He guided the Gators to a record-setting 10 wins, which included Allegheny's first-ever postseason win in the PAC Championship Tournament semifinals.
In 51 career games, D'Amato amassed 140 points (89g-51a) with 135 ground balls.
