MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swimming team hosted Saint Vincent Saturday (Nov. 16).
 
The Gators fell to the Bearcats 170-82. Allegheny won four of the contested races.
 
Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) collected both of the individual Gator wins. Each win came in butterfly events as she won the 100 with a time of 1:07.23 and the 200 with a time of 2:33.74.
 
Allegheny also won both relay events. The 200 medley relay team of Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy), Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA), Kohler and Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) started the meet with a first place finish, clocking in at 1:59.13. The 200 freestyle relay team of Pryshchenko, Magnolia Myers (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Our Lady of the Elms), Kohler and Swartz won with a time of 1:47.95 to end the meet.
 
Swartz also had a second place finish in the 50 freestyle while Pryshchenko was second in the 200 backstroke. Grace Wilson (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBouef) was the runner-up in the 1,000 freestyle.
