MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming team fell at home to Saint Vincent Saturday (Nov. 16).
 
The Bearcats won the meet by a score of 144-79 though the Gators won seven races.
 
Individually, Sam Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) led the Gators with a pair of wins. He captured the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:17.93 and the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:19.55.
 
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) won the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.74 while also taking second in the 200 freestyle.
 
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) was first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.99 while placing second in the 200 backstroke.
 
Eleano Barone (Johnstown, Pa./Palmyra Area)'s individual win came in the 100 breaststroke, clocking in at 1:05.65. He also took second in the 100 butterfly.
 
Allegheny also swept the relay races, winning the meet opening 200 medley relay with a time of 1:45.02 and meet closing 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.84.
