MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swimming team hosted Baldwin Wallace and Fredonia for a tri-meet Saturday (Oct. 26).
 
The Gators split the meet, defeating Fredonia 191-66 but falling to Baldwin Wallace 167-121. Overall, the Gators won five events.
 
Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy) won a pair of events. Her wins came in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.19 as well as the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:49.47. Additionally, she placed second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:06.55.
 
Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) also won two events. She swept the breaststroke events, taking the 100 with a time of 1:12.75 and the 200 with a winning time of 2:41.30.
 
Olivia Johnson (Trafford, Pa./Penn-Trafford) picked up the other victory, winning the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 12:21.17. 
 
Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) had second place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
 
Grace Wilson (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBouef) placed second in the 1,000 freestyle, Paisley Eveland (Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley) took second in the 200 backstroke and Magnolia Myers (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Our Lady of the Elms) placed second in the 100 butterfly.
