PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swimming team traveled to Chatham Saturday (Oct. 19), picking up the victory by a score of 133-101.
The Gators won eight events during the meet.
Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy) collected three wins on the day. She won a pair of freestyle events, taking the 50 with a time of 25.90 and the 1,000 with a time of 11:54.57. Pryshchenko also won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:25.24.
Three other Gators also won individual events.
Magnolia Myers (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Our Lady of the Elms) won the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.48.
Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) was victorious in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 2:47.82.
Olivia Johnson (Trafford, Pa./Penn-Trafford) wrapped up the individual wins, taking the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:33.02.
