NCAA Regional Rankings

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's lacrosse team was listed in the first edition of the NCAA's regional rankings.

The Gators are one of seven teams named in the initial Region IV rankings, which lists schools alphabetically rather than a true numerical ranking. The next round of regional rankings, on the other hand, will be the first to rank the teams in each region.

Allegheny currently sports an 11-3 overall record and an undefeated 6-0 record against teams in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) with three games remaining in the 2023 regular season. The Gators are tied with Washington and Jefferson College, which also appears in the Region IV rankings, for first place in the PAC standings.

On Saturday, April 22, the Gators host Grove City College in their regular-season home finale at 3:00 p.m. In addition to celebrating Senior Day, the women's lacrosse team is also holding a shoe drive to collect gently-used pairs of shoes to donate to those in need.
