Full PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Sophomore Sophia Godzak (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Hitter of the Week for her performances in the Gators first four games of the season.
 
This marks the first PAC Player of the Week honors for the program since they rejoined the PAC this past summer.
 
For the week, Godzak batted .538 with a .647 on-base percentage. Her eight hits and five RBI helped the Gators start the season 3-1.
 
In the Gators' win against Gordon, Godzak had three hits including a two-run double as the Gators rallied for a 10-9 win. In their win against Russell Sage, Godzak had three more hits. She finished the week with a hit, run and RBI in a win against Pitt Greensburg.
 
Through six games this season, Godzak is leading the team with a .579 batting average, 11 hits, four doubles and six RBI.
 
The Gators play six more games at The Spring Games in Florida, including a doubleheader against Mount Mary and Bluffton Tuesday (March 7).
