ADA, Ohio – Jacob King (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) represented the Allegheny men's track and field team at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Final Qualifier Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4.
 
King competed in the weight throw. His best toss of 15.47 meters earned him a 13th place finish.

Stephen Cullinan (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) also attended the Polar Bear Qualifier, but did not post a score in the heptathlon after sitting out the 60-meter hurdles and 1,000-meter run. Cullinan did post a personal record in the shot put on Friday, winning the event with an 11.90-meter throw.

The Gators are off until Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18, when they open the outdoor portion of their season at the Stan Romanoski Open, hosted by West Virginia University.
