MEADVILLE, Pa. -- For the second time this season, Allegheny College's Declan O'Brien (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) has been crowned the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week.

One of the top receivers in the nation this fall, O'Brien put up another Herculean effort on Saturday against Washington and Jefferson College. The senior from Irwin, Pennsylvania, set an Allegheny record with 18 receptions - the most by any Division III player in a game this season - with 233 yards and one touchdown. His 233 yards rank third all-time by a Gator, and O'Brien has surpassed 200 yards receiving in two of the last three games.

Nationally, O'Brien leads Division III with 897 receiving yards, ranks second in receptions per game, and is third in yards per game.

On Allegheny's all-time leaderboard, O'Brien climbed into second place all-time with 2,208 career yards, third with 157 receptions, and tied for third with 18 receiving touchdowns.

Allegheny football returns to Frank B. Fuhrer Field to host Grove City College on Saturday, October 14. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m.
