PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. --
Nine members of the Allegheny College football team ended the 2025 campaign by representing the Gators on the 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Teams, as announced by the league on Thursday evening.

Junior cornerback David Williams (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton), the 2023 PAC Newcomer of the Year, was recognized by coaches from around the conference with a spot on the All-PAC Second Team. Teammates Harrison Eckert (Frewsburg, N.Y./Frewsburg), Aiden Watt (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman), Dominic Berarducci (Erie, Pa./McDowell), Will Griffin (Hingham, Mass./Hingham), Devin Larry (Loganville, Ga./Loganville), Coltin Colucci (Brewster, Ohio/Fairless), Ryan Croston (Jefferson, Ohio/Pymatuning Valley), and Dylan Reid (Loxahatchee, Fla./Seminole Ridge) were all named All-PAC Honorable Mentions.

Williams returned to the starting lineup and proved once again that he was one of the top corners in the PAC. He tied for the conference lead and ranked 16th in Division III with 1.44 passes defended per game. Williams was also tied for fourth in the conference in interceptions (4) and finished 30th nationally in interceptions per game (0.44). He recorded an interception in three consecutive games against Geneva College, Waynesburg University, and Case Western Reserve University. Williams also made a career-high 48 tackles, including a season-high of 11 in the opener against Denison University.

Eckert and Watt made up two-fifths of Allegheny's offensive line. Eckert moved from tight end to become the team's right tackle as a sophomore, while Watt started all 10 games at center in his rookie season. With them leading the charge, the offense averaged nearly 74 more yards per game than last fall.

One of the biggest beneficiaries of Eckert and Watt's blocking up front was Berarducci. The second-year tailback paced the PAC with 85.7 rushing yards per game and was second with 771 total rushing yards. He surpassed 100 yards and scored multiple touchdowns on three occasions, highlighted by a 157-yard effort in a 26-0 victory over Thiel College on September 20.

Griffin and Larry accounted for nearly 70% of the team's receiving touchdowns. The senior tight end posted career highs in receptions (19), yards (158), and touchdowns (5). Griffin began heating up midway through the season and ended the year with touchdown catches in five of the last six contests. Allegheny's top target, Larry, ranked seventh in the PAC with 842 receiving yards and tied for fourth with 10 touchdowns. Larry's best game came against Westminster College on November 1, when the sophomore transfer went for 183 yards and three scores.

Colucci repeated as an All-PAC Honorable Mention after another year as the centerpiece of the Gator defense. The senior linebacker recorded 72 tackles, second-most on the team, with 4.5 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. Colucci made a season-high 11 stops against Denison and had interceptions in back-to-back games against Waynesburg and CWRU.

Croston made an immediate impact on the Allegheny defense in his freshman year. The first-year linebacker recorded a team-high 87 tackles with 6.0 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. He was one of two Gators named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on September 30 after making a game-high 11 tackles with one sack against Geneva.

Joining Croston on the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance against the Golden Tornadoes was Reid. The freshman punted the ball six times for an average of 40.0 yards per punt with a season-long of 59 yards at Geneva. For the year, Reid averaged 35.9 yards per punt with 10 downed inside the 20-yard line.

In addition to the All-PAC honorees, senior linebacker Fletcher Hammond (Gibsonia, Pa./Deer Lakes) was included on the PAC Sportsmanship Team.  The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior, and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams and student-athletes. A William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist, Hammond battled through injuries to produce 16 tackles in seven appearances.
