MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swimming and diving team completed the home portion of their schedule with a senior day meet against Oberlin Saturday (Jan. 21).
 
Oberlin won the meet by a score of 165-96, though the Gators won seven events.
 
Prior to the meet, the Gators honored their five seniors: Maggie Baham (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen), Ariana Clark (Freeport, Pa./Freeport), Jenna Halenda (Mars, Pa./Mars), Skyler Masse (Akron, N.Y./Akron) and Emily Spitz (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown). 
 
The 400 medley relay team of Clark, Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA), Baham and Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) opened the meet with a win, clocking in at 4:18.97.
 
Clark led the Gators on the day with a trio of individual victories in addition to the 400 medley relay win. She swept the backstroke events, winning the 100 with a time of 1:05.57 while capturing the 200 with a time of 2:23.15. Additionally, Clark won the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:05.61.
 
Reiter swept the breaststroke events. She clocked in at 1:14.32 for the 100 and 2:44.20 for the 200.
 
Kraus won the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.02. She also took second in the 100 freestyle.
 
Baham added a runner-up finish in the 200 butterfly while Halenda took second in the 200 backstroke.
 
The 400 freestyle relay team of Baham, Reiter, Halenda and Kraus took second with a time of 3:57.35.
