PAC Release
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- For the third time in as many weeks, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) recognized Allegheny College's
Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) as the PAC Women's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week.
The Pittsburgh native swam in the 100-yard breaststroke and as part of Allegheny's 200-yard medley relay team on Saturday against Edinboro University. For the fourth time this season, Reiter was victorious in the 100 breaststroke and recorded a time of 1:11.19. On the 200 medley relay, she swam the breaststroke and helped the Gators finish as runners-up with a time of 1:53.61.
Reiter is the first student-athlete to win three consecutive PAC Women's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week awards since Lauren Connors of Saint Vincent College received the first three awards of the 2019-20 season.
Reiter and the Gators are set to return to the pool on Thursday, November 17, for the opening day of the three-day Oberlin College Midseason Invite.
