MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College women's swimming and diving team started the 2022-23 season with an impressive home victory, as the Gators sailed past Washington and Jefferson College by a 182-51 final score.
The Gators (1-0) won all 14 events in which they competed, with the lone exception being that one-meter dive that featured only one W&J (0-2) diver.Â
Senior
Ariana Clark (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) led all individual swimmers with three wins. Her time of 1:08.15 in the 100-yard backstroke was more than four seconds quicker than teammate
Skyler Masse (Akron, N.Y./Akron). Clark also claimed the 200-yard backstroke (2:22.04) and 200-yard individual medley (2:32.82).

Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny),
Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy),
Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA), and
