LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Allegheny women's cross country team capped off its 2021 season at the NCAA Division III Championships held at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky.
Allegheny finished the race in 30th as a team. This marked the sixth-straight trip to nationals for the Gators and their 18th overall appearance.
Megan Aaron (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley) had the top individual result for the Gators, taking 49th with a time of 21:57.3 and just missing out on All-America honors. Competing in her second national championship, Sara Maue (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) was second on the team with a time of 22:54.4, placing 171st. In her third nationals appearance,
Molly Tarvin (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) placed 215th with a time of 23:16.2.
Emma Wall (Douglas, Mass./Douglas) was the Gators fourth, placing 233rd with a time of 23:25.7.
Mazzie Standish (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) rounded out the Gators' top-five with a time of 23:30.4 to take 241st.
Eva Kerr (Fredericksburg, Va./James Monroe) and
Nelly Stafford (Middletown, Md./Middletown) were the sixth and seventh runners for the Gators, finishing in 250th and 262nd, respectively.
