GRANVILLE, Ohio—The Allegheny College men's swimming and diving team continued competition at the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships.
 
The evening finals started with the 200-yard freestyle relay.  Rayshon Knight, Dalton Lodzins, Justin Katchur and Karl Stuntzner-Gibson finished in seventh place with a time of 1:27.52.  The finish netted the Gators 52 points. 
 
The first individual event was the 500-yard freestyle relay.  Swimming in the B-Final heat, Logan Indest finished 18th overall with a time of 4:52.35.  Jack Van Meter swam in the C-Final, placing 21st overall with a time of 4:53.74. The duo earned 19 points for the Gators. 
 
Stuntzner-Gibson swam in the C-Finals of the 200-yard individual medley.  The junior took 22nd with a time of 1:58.01, earning the Gators six points.
 
In the final individual swimming event of the evening, Dalton Lodzins represented the Gators in the C-Finals of the 50-yard freestyle, taking 26th place overall with a time of 21.96.  His finished earned the Gators two points. 
 
Hunter Pietrzycki and Riley Rizzer competed in the one-meter dive.  Both divers secured places in the finals of the event.  Pietrzycki finished in sixth place with a score of 316.40.  Rizzer was not far behind, taking eighth place with a score of 301.45.  Combined, the divers scored 52 team points. 
 
The final event in the pool was the 400-yard medley relay.  The squad of Daniel Beck, Katchur, Knight and Stuntzner-Gibson took sixth with a time of 3:33.18.  The finish earned the Gators 54 points. 
 
After two days of competition, the Gators sit in seventh place with 237 points. Host Denison University is currently in the lead with 714 points.
