FREDONIA, N.Y.—The Allegheny College men's swimming team continued competition at the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational Friday (Dec. 7).
After two days, the Gators remain in second with a score of 457.
Logan Indest started off the night for the Gators with a win in the 400-yard individual medley, 4:06.27.
Jack Van Meter finished runner-up to Indest with a time of 4:18.26.
Ben Blackburn also placed in the top-eight as he took seventh with a time of 4:20.04.
Tucker Harvey swam in the finals of the 100-yard butterfly, taking sixth with a time of 56.44. Anastasios Mihalpooulos won the B-Final of the event with a time of 59.15.
In the 200-yard freestyle finals,
Karl Stuntzner-Gibson finished second with a time of 1:44.47.
The Gators placed three in the top-six of the 100-yard breaststroke.
Justin Katchur was runner-up with a time of 56.94.
Brian Corletti was in fourth with a time of 59.33 while
Dalton Lodzins took sixth with a time of 1:01.23.
Daniel Beck and
DJ Merchbaker swam in the finals of the 100-yard backstroke. Beck finished third with a time of 55.35. Merchbaker took seventh with a time of 58.45.
The Gators concluded the night in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Beck, Katchur,
Justin Leary-Bignayan and Lodzins finished third with a time of 1:29.11.
Allegheny concludes the Blue Devil Invite Saturday (Dec. 8).
