MEADVILLE, Pa. - Coming off of a bye week, Allegheny will open the 2014 North Coast Athletic Conference portion of its schedule with a 1 p.m. contest at longtime rival Hiram College.

The Gators, who were defeated 28-14 by Thiel in their season opener on Sept. 6, will look for revenge for last season's 20-0 defeat at Hiram.  Allegheny owns a 32-11-1 record all-time against Hiram, and hasn't lost to the Terriers in back-to-back years since 1982-83.  The Terriers enter the game on a roll, winning their first two contests of the season and averaging nearly 500 yards of total offense.
