Gators Battle; Lakers Too Much

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Mercyhurst was able to navigate their way to a clean sweep in singles competition, but the duo of Margaret Hodgkiss-Lilly and Deb Landau continued their winning ways in no.2 doubles securing the lone win for the women's team Tuesday night at the Robertson Tennis Complex.

The successful pairing defeated the team of Rebecca Haener and Kelton Macke of Mercyhurst 8-4. The win for Hodgkiss and Landau marks their third win in no. 2 doubles of the fall and their only loss came against a pairing from Division-II IUP.

The Gators are in action this weekend in the Oberlin Invitational starting September 17th.
