NABC Release
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Allegheny College men's basketball program received academic awards from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
As a team, the Gators earned a Team Academic Excellence Award, which recognizes programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Allegheny was one of five Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) teams and one of over 400 programs nationwide honored with the award.
Individually,
Jeremy Burda (Johnstown, Pa./Forest Hills),
Tanner Miller (Elkins, W. Va./Elkins) and
Isaiah Portis (Medina, Ohio/Norwayne) were named to the NABC Honors Court. The Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who finished the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. More than 2,300 players from all levels of college basketball were included on this year's list.
