BOARDMAN, Ohio -- The Allegheny College women's golf team slipped one spot in the standings during the third round of the 2025-26 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships at Mill Creek Golf Course's North Course on Friday.
Three of Allegheny's four golfers completed all 18 holes before a brief storm halted action, but senior
Josephine Corey (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) only had to finish the 18th once play resumed. Corey carded her best round of the tournament thus far with an 11-over 83. She birdied the par-5 ninth and par-4 13th holes and moved up into eighth place on the individual leaderboard.
Sophomore
Ada Coté (West Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) also jumped two spots into a tie for 13th. Coté, who fired a 90 (+18), found success on the front nine, where she earned five of her six pars during the third round. She enters tomorrow's final round in a three-way tie with Natalie Smith of Franciscan University and Elizabeth DeLo of Saint Vincent College.
As a team, the Blue and Gold opened the spring half of the 2025-26 conference championship with a 394 (+106). As a result, Allegheny – which is missing two starters who participated in the fall rounds due to an injury and one student-athlete studying abroad this semester – fell into fourth place in the standings behind Grove City College.
