Results through 11 holes

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- An afternoon thunderstorm interrupted Saturday's one-round Allegheny College Spring Invitational, preventing all 28 golfers from completing all 18 holes at the Country Club of Meadville.

Officially, the tournament was declared no contest. Despite the incomplete round, however, awards were handed out based on scores through the 11th hole. Emily Burling of Grove City College scored an even 45 through the first 11 holes to earn the medalist trophy, while Division II Seton Hill University beat the Wolverines by two shots for the team title.

Senior Josephine Corey (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) tied for sixth place with a partial-round score of 54 (+9). First-year Elana Khilji (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) tied for 17th at 61 (+16), while sophomore Payton Essman (Hamburg, N.Y./Nardin Academy) was 26th with a 68 (+23).

All three Gators were among the few to complete their individual rounds of 18. Corey was on pace for a top finish with an 85 (+14), highlighted by a birdie on the par-5, 444-yard third. Khilji carded a 100 (+29), and Essman fired a 115 (+44).

The Allegheny women's golf team will travel to Boardman, Ohio, and the Mill Creek Golf Course's North Course for the last two rounds of the 2025-26 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships. The spring portion of the championship begins on Friday, April 24.
