MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Six student-athletes from Allegheny College field hockey, women's golf, and women's lacrosse were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-District At-Large Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and the classroom. The women's at-large category includes student-athletes from the following sports: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Field hockey and lacrosse athletes must have played in at least 90% or started in 66% of the team's competitions throughout the season. Golf nominees must have competed in 75% of the team's scored varsity events or be in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
Honorees from field hockey were
Emily Jackson (Oreland, Pa./Springfield Township) and
Rowan O'Toole (Glen Burnie, Md./Archbishop Spalding), while
Kendall Cox (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) and
Erin Lowthert (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) were chosen from the women's lacrosse team. Multi-sport student-athlete
Caroline Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty) represented both programs. Also included was women's golfer
Ada Coté (West Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta).
Cox was recognized for a second consecutive year, while the remaining Gators were selected for the first time.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The Academic All-America Women's At-Large first, second, and third teams will be announced on July 7.
