ITA Rankings

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The April 15 edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA Division III rankings featured both Allegheny College tennis teams.

Both teams were 68th in this week's national poll. It marks the first time this spring that the Gator women have been included in the rankings, while the men have been featured in each of the last three weeks.

Winners of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship during the fall portion of the season, the Allegheny women's tennis team boasts a 16-5 overall record heading into their regular-season finale against No. 15 Case Western Reserve University this afternoon.

The Allegheny men have already clinched the PAC's regular-season title. Riding a nine-match win streak, the Gators are 14-7 overall and 7-0 against conference opponents. Their last PAC match of the spring is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at Washington and Jefferson College.
