Ellenberger Wins Long Jump at AARTFC Championships

Complete Results

NEW YORK, N.Y. --
A week after being crowned the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field MVP, Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) put together another record-breaking performance at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships at The Armory in New York City.

One of six from the Allegheny College women's track and field to attend the AARTFC Indoor Championships, which serve as an ultra-competitive last chance meet for athletes from across the Northeast, Ellenberger was victorious in the long jump once again. She not only beat the other 30 athletes in attendance, but also broke her program record from the PAC Indoor Championships. On her sixth and final attempt, Ellenberger leapt 5.90 meters, vaulting her from fifth place to first while surpassing her previous record by 15 centimeters.

Ellenberger's 5.90-meter jump is the sixth-best in Division III, solidifying her chance to represent the Blue and Gold at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, next weekend.

Junior Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) competed in the pole vault on Friday. She finished in a three-way tie for 15th place after clearing 3.27 meters on her first attempt.

On Saturday, junior Aubryanna Snyder (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) placed 25th in the triple jump at 10.55 meters. She then joined Allegheny's 4x200-meter relay team alongside Mariah Helvy-Bruce (Braddock, Pa./Woodland Hills), Logan Wagner (Woodville, Ohio/Oak Harbor), and Lilly Larkin (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills). The quartet was 15th out of 26 teams with a time of 1:47.43.
