WGCA Release
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- The Allegheny College women's golf team finished in the top 10 of the 2024–25 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division III All-Scholar Team GPA Award standings.
The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA, including all of the team's student-athletes for the 2024–25 season.
Allegheny concluded the academic year with a 3.813 GPA, ranking seventh among all Division III programs. Ithaca College captured the team title with a 3.917 GPA.
Earlier this offseason,
Ada Coté (West Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta),
Payton Essman (Hamburg, N.Y./Nardin Academy), and
Kessler Potter (Kents Store, Va./Fluvanna County) were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
The WGCA, founded in 1983, is a nonprofit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The association was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in connection with the broader goal of education and in accordance with the highest traditions of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents more than 750 coaches across the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting, and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they serve.
