MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's track and field team competed at the Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational Thursday (May 8), winning seven events during the home meet.
 
Angelee Bawek (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) won the javelin with a personal best throw of 40.93 meters. That mark is currently the 18th best in Division III this season and an improvement by over 1.5 meters.
 
Chloe Bonson (Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford) won the 1,500 meter run, clocking in with a time of 4:41.59. Chloe Spotts (Cranberry Township, Pa./North Catholic) was first in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 22:55.60.
 
Renee Tetlow (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) brought home a first place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.47. Skye Kramer (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) was victorious in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:13.43.
 
Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) claimed first in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.38 meters.
 
In the final track event of the day, the 4x400 meter relay team taking first with a time of 4:28.77.
