TRAFFORD, Pa. – Angelee Bawek (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) of the Allegheny track and field team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at Slippery Rock's Dave Labor Invitational.
 
Bawek earned Allegheny's top finish of the weekend in the javelin, placing third and setting a new personal record at 39.31 meters, a top-20 mark nationally. She added 1.96 meters to her previous PR from the 2024 Mount Union Last Chance meet. The mark is also currently the best in the PAC this season.
 
The Gators are back on the track April 11-12 at the Westminster Invitational as well as the Bucknell Outdoor Classic April 12-13.
