TRAFFORD, Pa. – Chloe Bonson (Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford) of the Allegheny women's track and field team was named as the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Track Athlete of the Week after competing at the Bucknell Bison Classic.
 
Bonson competed in the 5,000 meter run at the event featuring talent from all three NCAA Divisions. She finished the race in 10th place out of 106 runners with a time of 16:43.76. Not only was that time a personal best and the second fastest time in program history, it is currently the sixth fastest time in Division III this season and the best in the Great Lakes Region.
 
The Gators are back in action Thursday (April 17) at Slippery Rock's John Papa Invitational.
