OBERLIN, Ohio -- Four members of the Allegheny College women's track and field team came away with victories at Oberlin College's Dan Kinsey Invite, hosted by the Yeowomen inside the John W. Heisman Field House on Friday night.

Not only did the Gators excel in the mid-distance races, but Allegheny added field wins in both the pole vault and shot put.

Allegheny owned the 800-meter and one-mile runs with an impressive display. Gators took home the gold, silver, and bronze in both races, and eight of the nine Allegheny runners in those events finished inside the top 10. Renee Tetlow (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.82, followed closely by teammates Shyann Rulander (Warren, Pa./Warren) and Nelly Stafford (Middletown, Md./Middletown).

Chloe Bonson (Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford) and Stafford both set indoor personal records in the one mile at 5:12.15 and 5:16.03, respectively. Celia Cocca (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) was third, one of two third-place efforts from the senior, with a time of 5:30.24.

In the pole vault, Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) recorded her first victory of the season after placing second at Baldwin Wallace's Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge and Houghton University's Highlander Invitational. Her winning mark of 3.32 meters was also a season-best, surpassing her 3.30-meter effort from last weekend at BWU. 

Senior Emma Miller (Elyria, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) continued making strides in the shot put. For the third time in as many weeks, Miller surpassed her previous season best, this time with a winning mark of 12.46 meters. She was the only athlete to exceed 12 meters, which she did in three of her six attempts. Miller added a runner-up performance in the weight throw at 13.50 meters.
