CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A quintet of Gators represented the Allegheny College women's indoor track and field team at the Ed Finnigan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invite, hosted by Case Western Reserve University inside the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center on Friday.
The Allegheny women combined for two victories and four personal records in seven different events.
Sophomore
Aubryanna Snyder (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) performed well in the long and triple jumps. She won the former with a personal-record mark of 5.30 meters, surpassing her previous best by 0.24 meters. Snyder also set an indoor PR in the triple jump and was the runner-up at 10.44 meters.Â
In the pole vault, sophomore
Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) earned her second win of the season. Inkley was one of two to clear 3.30 meters but was credited with first place over Lucy McChesney of Baldwin Wallace University.
Sophia Shiroff (Denver, Colo./Denver East) and
Skye Kramer (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) added PRs in the 3,000-meter run and 60-meter hurdles, respectively.
