Day Three Results
GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team continued to compete on day three of the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships, hosted by Grove City, Friday (Feb. 21).
After three days of competition, the Gators currently sit in sixth place with 172 points.
Sam Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) earned a spot in the championship finals of the 100 butterfly. He finished the heat in 7th with a time of 54.40.
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was in the championship finals of the 200 freestyle. He swam the race in a time of 1:45 20 to take home a fourth place finish.
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) and
Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview) qualified for the 100 breaststroke. Fluharty raced in the championships. He placed seventh with a time of 1:02.28. Habusta was in the consolation finals, winning the heat with a time of 1:04.79.
In the final individual event of night three,
Miguel Orti Vila (Málaga, Spain/Cheam) swam in the consolation finals of the 100 backstroke. He finished in 15th with a time of 1:06.65.
The evening ended with the 200 freestyle relay. The team of Fluharty, Habusta, Kohler and Malnar placed fourth with a time of 1:29.65.
