TRAFFORD, Pa. -- For the fourth time this season, the Allegheny College men's basketball team took home Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week honors.

On Monday, the PAC office named first-year forward Lincoln Brockmeyer (Akron, Ohio/Copley) this week's Newcomer of the Week. Brockmeyer joins Pijus Latauskas (Vilnius, Lithuania/Kiski Prep (Pa.)), a three-time honoree, as the second Gator to win the award this winter.

Against Case Western Reserve University on Saturday, Brockmeyer scored 11 points with three steals and one rebound. He shot 50.0% from the field (4-of-8) and was a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range. His three steals led all players from either team and tied his single-game season-best.

Brockmeyer and the Gators return to the David V. Wise Center on Tuesday, December 16, to host Muskingum University at 5 p.m.
