PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. -- The Allegheny College men's basketball team finished third in the North Division in the 2025-26 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
New for the 2025-26 season, the PAC split its basketball standings into two divisions with the addition of its 12th full-time member, Hiram College.
In the North Division, Allegheny was selected third behind Westminster College and Grove City College. Westminster earned 60 points with six first-place votes, followed by the Wolverines with 58 points and four first-place votes. The Gators, under the direction of second-year head coach
Pat Sullivan, earned two first-place votes and 43 total points.
Coaches around the PAC voted Washington and Jefferson College the South Division favorite, with 63 points and nine of 12 first-place votes.
Three Gators were also included on the PAC's Players to Watch list for the upcoming season. Allegheny's three leading returning scorers - seniors
Ryan Lang (Sarver, Pa./Knoch) and
James Sitter (Erie, Pa./Fairview) and junior
Jayson Perry (Tampa, Fla./Sickles) - were all featured. Lang and Sitter both averaged double-digit points last winter with 13.7 and 13.1 points per game, respectively.
Allegheny will head to Buffalo, New York, for an exhibition game against Division I Canisius University to kick off the new season. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, inside the Koessler Athletic Center.
