TRAFFORD, Pa. – Jacy Diaz (Barranquitas, Puerto Rico/Gallatin (Tenn.)) of the Allegheny volleyball team was named as the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week.
 
In two games, Diaz tallied 52 digs, eight assists and three aces. This marks her second time earning the award this season and the eighth time in her career.
 
Diaz started the week with 18 digs in a three-set sweep on the road at Geneva. She finished the week by recording 34 digs against Westminster. For the season, she finishes with 608 digs and 102 assists and 43 aces.
 
The senior libero wrapped up her Allegheny with the program career digs record with 2,525. That total is also the second most in PAC history by just four digs. She also finishes second in career aces with 226.
