Three From Field Hockey Named All-NCAC

NCAC Release

CLEVELAND --
The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced Monday that a trio from the Allegheny College field hockey team earned All-NCAC honors for their performances during the 2025 season.

Allegheny placed one student-athlete on each team. Goalie Rowan O'Toole (Glen Burnie, Md./Archbishop Spalding) was named to the All-NCAC First Team, while defenders Bryce Watford (Parkville, Md./Eastern Technical) and Emily Jackson (Oreland, Pa./Springfield Township) were included on the second and third team, respectively.

O'Toole, last year's NCAC Newcomer of the Year, became the first player in program history to earn multiple All-NCAC First Team accolades. The second-year goalkeeper was among the top three in the conference in every statistical category. O'Toole paced the NCAC with a .805 save percentage, ranked second in total saves (103), and placed third in goals-against average (1.68), shutouts (3), and saves per game (7.36). She recorded double-digit saves on three occasions, including a 14-save effort against Denison University on October 4. O'Toole helped the Gators close the season strong with wins in three of their last four games, including double-overtime victories over Oberlin College and the College of Wooster.

A finalist for the 2025 NCAC Newcomer of the Year award, Watford started all 14 games for the Gators in her debut season. She was tied for second on the team with two goals, both of which were game-winners. Watford netted the only goal in a 1-0 win at Roanoke on September 6, then delivered the double-overtime winner in the finale against Wooster on November 1. Against Oberlin, Watford made a key defensive save during the first overtime period that helped force a second overtime en route to another 2-1 triumph.

Jackson was one of only five Gators to start all 14 games during her junior campaign. Alongside O'Toole and Watford, she was a crucial member of Allegheny's starting defensive unit. In a contest that ended in a shootout against Kenyon College on October 11, Jackson earned an assist on the game-tying goal in the third quarter. Her leadership from the back line was evident during the team's three shutout wins, including a 2-0 victory at Transylvania in which Allegheny allowed only one shot attempt.
