TRAFFORD, Pa. – Kessler Potter (Kents Store, Va./Fluvanna County) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week for her performance at the Ithaca Invitational this past weekend.
 
At the invitational, Potter tied for 17th with a 36-hole score of 170. After shooting an 86 in the first round, she shaved off two strokes in round two, and birdied the par-five 15th hole.
 
This marked the second straight Newcomer of the Week honor for the Gators.
 
Allegheny is back in action this weekend (Sept. 15-16) at the John Carroll Invitational.
