ALLIANCE, Ohio – Elizabeth Lubold (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) won the javelin at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet with a career-best throw of 42.07 meters.
 
Lubold won the event with a toss of 42.07 meters, the best mark of her career by 2.35 meters. That result catapulted her up to 14th in NCAA Division III this season with the National Championships taking place next week. The top 22 performers in each event earn a spot to compete for the national title. The throw was also the third best in program history.
 
Angelee Bawek (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) also competed in the javelin, taking fifth place with a toss of 37.35 meters. That toss was her best mark of the season.
