NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Allegheny women's track and field team had five top-eight finishes at the Westminster Invitational Saturday (April 13).
Genevieve Feltmeyer (Waterford, Pa./Fort Leboeuf) had the best finish for Allegheny. She was the runner-up in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:07.93.
Renee Tetlow (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) had another top-eight finish for the Gators. It came in the 400 meter hurdles as she finished fifth with a time of 1:07.23
Emma Miller (Elyria, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) earned a top-eight finish in the shot put. Miller's heave of 12.23 meters placed her in sixth. The throw was the second best among the Division III throwers in the field.
Madeline Allen (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne) finished the 5,000 meter run in seventh place with a time of 19:54.50.
The 4x100 relay team of
