Box Score MAYFIELD, Ohio – The Allegheny men's tennis team started the 2024 portion of their schedule on the road at top-ranked Case Western Reserve Friday (Feb. 9).
 
The Gators fell to the Spartans 9-0.
 
In doubles action, the second doubles team of Anton Hedlund (Hovas, Sweden /Katrinelundsgymnasiet) and Evan Nelson (Scituate, Mass./Scituate) had the closest match against Anmay Devaraj and Diego Maza, but fell 8-5.
 
Hedlund also had a close match at first singles against Devaraj, taking the first set to a tiebreaker, but ultimately fell 7-6, 6-2.
