CLEVELAND -- On Saturday, four from the Allegheny College women's track and field team represented the Gators at Case Western Reserve University's season-opening Spartan Alumni Meet at the Veale Convocation, Recreation, and Athletic Center.

Multi-sport standout Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair), a member of Allegheny's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship-winning tennis team, had the best finish of the day for the Gators. Ellenberger was the runner-up in the long jump at 5.16 meters, just one-hundredth of a meter behind Grove City College's Rebecca Vezzosi (5.17 meters).

Junior sprinter Logan Wagner (Woodville, Ohio/Oak Harbor) added an indoor personal record and a pair of top-10 performances. Wagner was fourth in the 400-meter dash at 1:02.28, just a fraction of a second shy of an indoor PR. Her time of 27:87 seconds in the 200-meter dash, however, was a new indoor personal best.

Sophomore Skye Kramer (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Moreland) earned a PR in the high jump, placing 12th after clearing 1.40 meters. She also competed in the 60-meter hurdles for the first time in her college career. She placed 13th in the hurdles with a time of 11.91 seconds.

First-year jumper Sydney Cernansky (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) began her Allegheny career by competing in both the triple jump (9.18 meters) and long jump (4.09 meters).
