TRAFFORD, Pa. – Graham Kralic of the Allegheny men's soccer team was named as a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Student-Athlete of the Month for October.
Each month, the SAAC groups at PAC member institutions are asked to nominate one male and one female student-athlete for PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month consideration based on academic and athletic accomplishments. Nominees must be varsity team members in their respective sports and in their junior or senior year. Scholar-Athlete of the Month nominees must also have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and be actively involved within their campus communities.
Kralic, a senior defender, helped the Gators finish with a 5-2-0 record during October in conference play. In their regular season finale win against Saint Vincent, Kralic helped the Gator defense hold the Bearcats to just five shots, two on goal, lifting Allegheny into the No. 4 seed and a home game in the PAC Tournament.
The three time Distinguished Alden Scholar, as well as three time Alden Scholar, posts a 3.82 cumulative GPA while majoring in Economics with a Communication minor. Kralic has received College Sports Communicators All-District Honors, as well as being named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll twice.
Kralic is an active member of Allegheny's college community. He is the Interfraternity Council Treasurer and the Director of Membership Development for the Alpha Chapter of Delta Tau Delta. Kralic also serves as a teaching assistant for Business and Economics and is a Center for Business and Economics fellow. Additionally, he volunteers with Breakthrough T1D, a non-profit organization leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy, helping to make everyday life better while driving toward cures.
