2025 Division III Men's Soccer All-Region Teams
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the first time in more than a decade, the Allegheny College men's soccer team earned all-region accolades from United Soccer Coaches (USC).
Midfielder
Will Gruca (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) was named to the USC All-Region VII Second Team following a tremendous junior campaign. A 2025 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) First Team selection, Gruca was one of nine players from the conference recognized with an all-region award this fall.
Gruca led the Gators to the semifinal round of the PAC Championship Tournament as one of the top scorers in the league. He produced at least one point in eight of Allegheny's nine wins. Gruca finished third in the PAC in points (31) and points per game (1.48), tied for fourth in goals (10), and was the only player in the conference to reach double-digit assists with 11. Among national leaders, Gruca was tied for seventh in assists and ranked among the top 50 in the country in assists per game (0.52) and total points. In a 5-1 rout of Bethany College on October 18, Gruca logged a season-best six points with two goals and two assists.
It's been 13 years since the last time an Allegheny men's soccer player received all-region honors from the USC, formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). In 20212, Tim Egan '13 and David DelGreco '13 – former teammates of head coach
John Lichina '14 – were named to the NSCAA All-Great Lakes Team First and Second Teams, respectively.
