TRAFFORD, Pa. – Dagney Javes (Frederick, Colo./Dawson School) of the Allegheny volleyball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week for her performances in a pair of conference victories last week.
For Javes, this marks her third weekly honor of the year, and second in a row.
The Gators picked up PAC wins against Grove City and Saint Vincent last week. At Grove City, Javes accounted for a team-high 18 kills on 33 total attacks, a hitting percentage of .485. She also assisted on a pair of blocks. At home against Saint Vincent, Javes tied the team-high with 16 kills while assisting on four more blocks.
For the season, Javes leads the team with 335 kills, the highest season total in her four-year career.
Allegheny is back in action Wednesday (Oct. 30), on the road at Westminster.
