PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. – Dagney Javes (Frederick, Colo./Dawson School) of the Allegheny volleyball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week for her performances in a pair of victories last week.
This marks the second weekly honor for Javes this year.
Allegheny picked up wins against Hiram and Washington and Jefferson last week. Javes tallied 26 kills in the matches. At home against Hiram, Javes had 14 kills on just 25 attempts, a hitting percentage of .480. At Washington and Jefferson, she had 12 kills on 28 attempts.
For the season, Javes has registered a team-high 301 kills and is second in the PAC in hitting percentage (.336) and kills per set (3.58k/s).
The Gators are on the road at Grove City Wednesday (Oct. 23).
