VIENNA, Ohio – The Allegheny women's golf team opened up competition at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Fall Championship at the Squaw Creek Golf Club Monday (Oct. 14).
After 18 holes of competition, the Gators currently sit in third place overall with a team score of 364. Westminster currently holds the top spot with a score of 338.
Elisa Gomez (La Mirada, Calif./St. Joseph) had the best finish of the day for Allegheny, shooting an 84, putting her in fifth-place and four strokes off the lead. Her day included a birdie on the par-5 17.
Josephine Corey (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) is currently tied for 12th with a round one score of 89. She birded the par-4 16th.
Ada Coté (West Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta) is tied for 14th with a score of 90.
Kessler Potter (Kents Store, Va./Fluvanna County) shot a 101 to tie for 25th while
Sara Karns (Tarentum, Pa./Highlands) is in 35th with a score of 109.
