PAC Release

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Allegheny College freshman Ethan Carr (King of Prussia, Pa./Harriton) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the conference office on Monday evening.

Carr led the Gators to a pair of 9-0 PAC wins over Geneva College and Saint Vincent College last week, going a combined 4-0.

Against Geneva on Wednesday, he earned an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and an unblemished 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Three days later, he was a double-winner at the No. 1 spot with an 8-0 doubles victory and a 6-1, 6-1 singles triumph.

So far this spring, Carr is unbeaten in PAC matches, as the first-year talent is 3-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles.

Allegheny returns to the courts on Wednesday, April 19, when the Gators travel to Westminster College for a 3:30 p.m. match.
