WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – The Allegheny women's golf team finished fourth at the John Carroll Spring Invite April 15-16, held at the Manakiki Golf Course.
The Gators finished fourth in the 10-team field with a score of 718. Otterbein won the event with a score of 656.
Kelsi Zik (Murrysville, Pa./Plum) had the top finish for the Gators. After dropping eight strokes in between rounds, Zik shot a 170 to finish in seventh.
Elisa Gomez (La Mirada, Calif./St. Joseph) shot rounds of 88 and 86 for a total score of 174, placing her in a tie for tenth.
Jenny Beth Brundige (South Fulton, Tenn./South Fulton) was third on the team with a score of 182, tying her for 20th.
Josephine Corey (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern Central) finished in 33rd with a 192 while
Sarah Pillittieri (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) shot a 202 for 44th.
