OBERLIN, Ohio – The Allegheny women's track and field team continued their outdoor season at Oberlin's Bob Kahn Invitational Friday and Saturday (March 31- April 1).
Mihaela Toader (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) tallied a pair of top two finishes. She won the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.49 before taking second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.90
Leuca Hanish (Baden, Pa./Cambridge) was victorious in the 10,000 meter run as she crossed the finish line with a time of 38.53.97.
Hailey Stupay (Shaker Heights, Ohio/SHaker Heights) placed third in the race with a time of 40.42.50.
Mazzie Standish (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) took fifth in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 5:08.52.
Renee Tetlow (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) had a runner-up finish in the 400 hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:11.59.
Melina Mangino (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) placed fourth in the 100 hurdles with a finish of 16.53 while
Nelly Stafford (Middletown, Md./Middletown) took fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:26.36.
The 4x400 relay team of
Celia Cocca (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora), Tetlow, Stafford and Toader finished in second with a time of 4:18.39.
Emma Miller (Elryia, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) was the runner-up in the shot put, finishing with a best toss of 11.58 meters.
Laila Davis (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) was just behind in third with a distance of 11.32 meters.
Hope Gómez (Laveen Ariz./Valley Christian) carded a third-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 32.25 meters.
